bc144 valve oal

Hi everybody,
Do any of you happen to have an old pair of valves out of a BC144 engine? I need to know the overall length, and the distance between the end of the valvestem and the center of the keeper groove or grooves. Also, might any of you have a cylinder head for the same engine lying around that you would part with for a reasonable amount?
Thanks,
Elliott Pinson

I've got some used valves around, but it might be a day or so before I dig them out. They're still in a head I pulled off a BD144 in a B-275 tractor. BD144 diesel uses the same valves as the BC144 gasser. 3044174R1 and 3044175R1.

I know where there are a couple of used heads, but none will be cheap. Prices are getting out of this world. Tractor junkyard near me has a 3414 and a 354 tractor, both with BC144 engines.
I was looking for a spare carburetor to rebuild (British Zenith VN or VNN). The place wanted $200 for used carb that had been out in the weather for years. $50 would of been high. I finally found a place in England that has them brand new for $140 each.

Thanks for your response, If you run across those valves and would be willing to measure them for me I would really appreciate it. I am hoping to find dimensionally equivalent valves by an aftermarket valve company such as "Sealed Power" or "TRW." Thirty to fourty bucks per valve and valve guide is a little much for me. If I cannot find a cheaper alternative I might just have to let my old hoe continue to smoke. Fill up the oil and check the gas! My email is [email protected].
Thanks again Elliott Pinson
