I recently posted abot a M Farmall of a friend of mine. The rocker arms weren't moving but the distributer was turning. We finally got it torn down and the center of the gear on the camshaft was broken out. Let the cam gear slide ahead against the cover. Still was in mesh with the idler gear and the distributer gear. Thus the distributer would turn but the cam didn't. Thanks for all the information and suggestions. Bernie Steffen
