Super A front rims slip

For years I"ve had issues with the rims on the front turning in the hubs and eventually destroying the valve stem. I thought I had it licked, but today opened the garage door to find a flat tire. Anyone have any advice or experience solving this problem?

Thanks in advance
Brian

The bolts need to be removed, One at a time is OK. Clean the threads and wire brush them to shiny. If they are weak or ugly, replace them. Put silver (molybdenum disulphide) anti-seize compound on them. Center and tighten them equally and tight.
If this seems useless, a small tab could be welded to either side of a clamp (tire dismounted) to prevent rotation. The fact that they walk around is evidence of looseness. JimN

Make sure the clamps are put on the right way. They can be put on at least two different ways but only one way is correct. Don't ask me how I know this.

If nothing else works weld a small nut on each side of one the lugs. Our C AC had that from the factory when it was new.

All of the ones I've seen have a piece of square stock welded to the rim. believe there is a place cast in to the wheel for it to be.
