Farmall M live hydraulic pump

I just bought a farmall m that has a live pump setup that I have never seen before. It has the hydraulic pump after the distruibuter and the distributer mounts straight up and down. Just wondering who made this setup originally. I don't think that it is m and w but I could be wrong.

The distributer is a Delco, likely your M had a mag on it and the Delco was used to replace the mag. This was probably before IH began using distributers, theirs is horizontal. I have not heard of any other brand of pump, it could even be IH. M&W has the hose(s) coming out of the top.

Every M and W I have ever seen the pump mounts inbetween the front cover and the distributer, this one the distributer is inbetween the pump and the front cover and it is an IH distributer mounted vertically. I'll try and post some pictures of it as soon as I get the tractor home.
