Cub lo-boy seat. Which one?

By serial# its a 1956 Lo Boy. Has lawn mower seat on there now. How do I tell whether it had the pan or the deluxe seat?

Well i am not sure but all the lowboys that i have ever seen all have had the delux seat .

Can you send us a picture? If any of the original mount is there we can tell from the photo.

They came either way, I have Loboys with both styles.

I don't think there is a way to know what seat it had originally. Either would be "correct."

The pan seat was an option on the cubs & lo-boys won a bet on this.

The Cub and Cub Cadet book tells us that if the Lo Boy gearshift is straight it has a pan seat, if curved it has the delux seat. Mine came to me with the curved stick and a pan seat..go figure...Darald

The Standard (Farmall) Cub had the straight lever with the pan seat and curved with the Deluxe seat. The Lo-Boy came with the curved lever no matter which seat was on it.

Cub lo-boy seat. Which one?
