how do u get the fasthitch to center it self

Do you mean it wont stop going up or down? If that is the case either the draft linkage from lift cylinder to control valve is damaged, unhooked or the spider gears within the control valve are broken.

I always centered it by moving the lever to get it to the position I want it for up and down.

If you mean side to side,I have never had that problem, it always was self centered.

There is a pin on the left side of the tractor just back of the axle on the fast hitch which can be left in the holes to make the hitch "rigid" or can be pulled to let it " float" from left to right. Check for a bent piece on the hitch in this area.

Mayby he wants the hitch to be in the middle of its travel when the lever is in the middle of the quadrant(sp?)? To do this I would think you could adjust the linkage. Armand
