Will the spindles on a Norden wide front end work on either side?

If the steering arm will attach to the spindle in the correct position, it should work.

a new keyway for the steering arm is necessary. that is if your steering arm is keyed as mine is.

Guys, have any of you actually found replacement spindles for a Norden front end? I've been looking for a couple years now. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes Louie I found one at Bridgeport Tractor Parts
in Bridgeport Neb. about 4 to5 years ago. Nordens
were made in Russell KS so I started there researching dealers and salvage yards until I found what I wanted.I found some used ones in KS and NB
but I havn't found which notebook I wrote stuff
down on yet.

Woooo bloody Hoooo! I knew somebody would come through some day! I have one in need of spindles and they are impossible to find around here. If you could find that notebook I would be very appreciative. It never occurred to me to search for junkyards around Russell, but... DUH!

but I have called some people and talked to one today and he hasn't found anything so far but has some feelers out and will let me know.If you want

Yes, they will interchange from left to right. I worked at Russell Mfg in the early 70's building the Norden axles.
