Farmall 300 Row Crop.

I'm not familiar with Farmall makes and models. My dad needs a Tachometer and Tach drive gear for a farmall 300 row crop. All I can find is one for a farmall 300 utility. Are they the same? If not where can I find a tach and drive gear for a row crop 300 for him. Thanks WR.

WR - A utility tach drive gear should work fine (the 300 row crop and 300 utility share the same engine).

As for the tach head itself, a utility tach's RPM and hour meter functions should function accurately. However a utility tach's ground speed markings will likely be somewhat in error when used on a rowcrop.

Thanks Bob. I'll Get the Utility tach then for him. I think all he wanted the tach for was to watch his RPM's when he was Bailing hay. He's gonna get me the part number for that drive gear tonight Thanks Again W.R.
