IH 2001 loader problem

I have 69' 544 utility with a 2001 loader, was cleaning up last nights snow this morning when after raising the bucket it wouldn't come down, or at least not easily. If you crack the valve just slightly it will return extremely slow, if you push to far it locks up and you have to raise the bucket some and try again. Any idea on whats wrong?

Check your hydraulic couplers, one could be part way out or bad, had that happen on the 756 with 2250 loader, drove me nuts, it was a bad coupler.

I agree with Mike. I had same problem using hydraulics on a round baler. Bad coupler, replaced with new, problem solved.
