SM HIGH CROP VS COTTON PICKER SM

Easier to list what is the same: Both are taller than a standard Super M. I don't think it is much of an overstatement to say that almost all the special parts are different.

The main difference is the CP tractor uses bullgear drop housings to raise it up and reverse the operating direction. It uses a 7:50 x 20 single guide wheel. The High Clear uses chain drive drop boxes which do not reverse the operating direction and were standard with a high clear wide front axle.

Here are the differences that I know of.

The vegetable hi-crop had an arched widefront with larger diameter rims & tires and the rear drop boxes were chain-driven. Whereas the cotton picker had a single front wheel, I believe, and the drop boxes were gear-driven, thus reversing the direction of the tractor.

The good answers below didn't mention the dollar difference. Cotton picker tractors are fine tall tractors they work as well as any tall M (or what ever) the High Crop has collector desirability. probably 300% difference in price.
