anyone ever go to Farmall-Land USA?

I finally got some free time to look thru my latest edition of Red Power and I saw an ad for Farmall-Land USA in Avoca, Iowa. It looks like a couples private collection of over 175 tractors, trucks, and many IH items. My question is has anybody from here gone there to check it out. I think it would be pretty neat to check out but I would like some input cause it is rather far from my house and I would hate to drive that distance for nothing. Thanks

Yes, it takes at least an afternoon to see it all. It is owned by the former IH dealer there and he started accumalating things long, long ago. He has an experimental 4 wheel drive and everything is in showroom condition. If you come in warmer weather spend the other half of the day at Missouri Valley, Iowa to see Charlie Wisecup's MM collection 2 blocks east of the I-29 interchange. Bring your camera.

We stopped there last summer in August. What a great place to visit if you are a Farmall person. My wife even liked it because it is temperature controlled year around (meaning it was hot outside and a comfortable 75 inside - she hates heat). He keeps it climate controlled to protect the collection from heat/cold changes. Every tractor is basically restored and placed in the building with the fluids drained and no battery (has fake batteries where they show). They let us in the new section in the back which will have more tractors and more toys. I would highly recommend it and plan to spend some time there as it can take a morning or afternoon to see. Also, it was cheap to get in. Roger

Yes, went there last June excellent collection plan to spend quite a bit of time and bring your camera.
The folks that run the place are real nice couple of folks. Definately worth the trip.
