1701 loader on a 656 farmall

Im looking for mounting brackets for my 1701 loader to go on my 656 farmall. If i cant find them does anyone have a 1701 on a 656 or similar and would help me with measurments?

I retrofitted a 1701 loader I had purchased to my 340U, and had to make my own brackets. In addition to having to make up 1" on each side where the loader bolts to the side of the bell housing with a sandwich of 1/4" flatstock strips, I had to fabricate a plate and spacers for the front bolster attachment points. I first made templates out of 3/4 plywood to determine the required geometry and hole layouts.

Brad, I've got the 1701 owner's manual at home. Let me check and see if they give measurements on the brackets.

As I recall the front bracket was pretty much universal. Depending on how you rotated/flipped it, it would bolt to the front of the tractor.
