I saw a picture on the net of an H with a cab on it. I am wanting to put a wide front and 3 point on my H and I use it a lot in the winter for hauling firewood and sap for maple syrup. Did anyone ever make a cab for an H or was the photo that I saw a custom deal off of a 706 or something? Do any of you know where I might find a cab that would work on an H? I am tired of being wet and cold all the time. Thanks! Kippster

I saw that picture too. Guy sure did a good job on that thing.

Dunno, think your best bet is to go to IH and get a Weather Break for $323. They really work well.

Over the years i have seen a couple at sales with cabs on them. as to who made them ????? don't know . Now if one had the time and a good place to work one could be made with a little thought a little massuren a few home made blue prints some angle iron some sheet metal and a local glass co . to cut the glass heck ya could even have heat and A/C tinted winders surrond sound even tuck and rolled interior

If you want to do a little re-manufacturing how about a cab from an older tractor. My bro bought a cab for his JD4020 used and it was a rear entry and fit between the fenders on the 4020. Something lik that may fit over the fenders on an H. Just my 2 pennies.

heres a home made on my h. some plywood, plexiglass, angle iron and what ever else is laying around the barn. side window slide open, has a hinged rear door. with the heat hauser canvass on it, pretty warm inside. i have a snow plade that replaces the manure bucket, and there are a set of chains off a road grader for the rear tires. pushes snow rear good.

I LIIIIKE the looks of that! Uncomplicated, does the job, good visibility. With that arch in the roof, all ya need to go with it is a steam whistle!

Tokheim made all metal cabs for Ms and probaly Hs back in the day. There were threads on this site and Red Power recently with pictures of the cabs. Ther is a company in business today making custom cabs for construction equipment and their cabs resemble the ols M Tokheim cabs.

what do you think about this one

Last time I looked at Earl, his eyes were wide, his lip was curled and his leg was fried. I seem to remember his hands being stuck to the wheel like a tongue stuck to a sled in the middle of winter.
Of course I could be wrong.

After the War, in the late 40's, a company called AUTOMATIC, Pender,Neb. and a company Comfort (I think) made them. Dad had one of each on IHC "M"'s and a neighbor had a Comfort on a "H". Both were rear entry,
