On my 48 CUB This just stated today
I can hear a Low thump on the left side only
It seems to be in the same spot ever time
It sounds like the tire lug hits the fender
Rolling on flat ground no load
I have a lot of room for the tire
I seem not to hear it in Rev.
HELP HELP PLEASE........

First, tighten all the bolts that attach the wheel to the rim, then tighten all the bolts that attach the wheel to the hub. See if that helps.
Loose bolts are often the culprit.

I always love posts that have "HELP PLEASE" or "PLEASE HELP" in them... Like we're not going to help unless you put that in there...

Calm down. Nobody's stabbing you. The tractor isn't sitting on your foot. It'll still be there tomorrow.

Definitely check the four outer lug bolts for proper tightness. Normally you hear a squeak but sometimes it's a click or a thump that can really worry you if you don't know what you're hearing. I had FOUR loose lug bolts one time. Swore I checked them all when I found the first loose one, but it still squeaked and I found another one that was loose. I definitely checked the other three after fixing the second one, yet it still squeaked and I found a third loose bolt. Checked the only one left without two lock washers on it, and it was tight as I could get it. Next time I drove the tractor, squeak squeak squeak... That bolt was loose.

That's nice.

As everyone says the four bolts have one or more loose. They didnt tell ya to take the nuts off and oil the threads so you can do a good job getting them tight
