got some 1/2 inch by 1 inch flat stock 12 inches long, welded a little tab on the bottom of each flat, stuck er in and backed in to it ....woo hoo!!! no more floppy hitch, and holy cow does that raise the bush hog up high now!!!
one other question. how were the latches released from the operators postion on the fast hitch ??? i been using a bungee cord wrapped around and hooked to the latches when i want to unhook, but i dont think thats the way it was originally done...

Glen: I carry a D handle hook about 12" long made out of 3/8" round bar. You probably need longer on a C, SC or 200. I have a place for it by gear shift on 140, clip similar to crank holder.

We just used a piece of wire that we kept hooked around something on the tractor. I remember a few times when the wire got lost and then it was a pain getting that hook to stay up.

Brings back good memories.
