'41 H seat deck

I am new to this. The bolt pattern on my transmission cover/deck has a different bolt pattern than what I've typically seen. Does anyone know which seat assembly was originally on this tractor? (S/N FBH-53953)
I've replaced the seat assembly with the mid-mounted shock seat assembly, but I can only bolt it to the front bolt locations.
Thank-you ion advance for any ideas you might have!

The original seat frame looks like a curved pipe, the pipe is attached to the mounting bracket bolted on top the transmission housing with a spring on it. The seat pan is on the other end on the pipe with a hinge to flip the seat over when it is not in use and some have a tin toolbox bolted onto the pipe.

Your H is a 1941, go to Caseih.com and do a search for parts. Type in "farmall H" You will be able to find the 3 different seats that were made.
Some of the original brackets had multiple holes so you could move the seat forward or back.

here is a pic of a farmall with the seat Andy was discibing. I have one just like it on my 1944 H.

That is just the way it is. I've got a 1940 H with the rear mount shock Monroe seat, and a 1940 M with the mid mount shock. 2 bolts are all that will line up, and they've been that way since long before I bought either one.

Rustys got it 2 bolts is all that bolted seat down on yours when new. It was late 41 before 4 bolts started being used.

I figured that the original seat assembly was the pipe. I have yet to figure out how to put a picture in my post (suggestions?) but I did post my seat deck on the "Help Identify" Gallery. Notice the different bolt pattern between mine and neblinc"s.

Rusty- is this what your decks look like?

Thanks for all the help! I love this site!!!

Used H serial # 62509 X1 on dairy farm for years. Only the two 5/8 bolt holes closest to steering post were used to mount the curved pipe seat with spring and mounting bracket located at front of pipe. Also used a starter switch in rear fuel tank support and a rod through hole near bottom of steering post to engage switch.
I see your tractor has the holes. Tractor worked a lot of plowed ground without seat falling off.
