I have been reading the post on here hwat a wealth of information. I need a manual and some ideas on implimet for my H. I purchase 7 acres in Indiana last fall, I am currently in the process of fencing and going to build a barn in the spring I will have a few head of cattle and some horses with a small hay field. I borrowed a 4 foot bushhog last fall but it seemed a little small for the H, I was looking for suggestions on impliment and sizes for the tractor. It does have a 3 pt, thanks for any help.

An H can handle a 6' bush hog with no difficulty.
It needs to be kept sharp to avoid excessive drive line wear (on the bush hog gear box and drive shafts, not the H) There is a good reason to use a overrunning clutch on the drive line of the H as the mower inertia will continue to push the tractor forward (or backward) when the clutch is pushed without this safety clutch. It is placed on the output shaft at the tractor, and allows the tractor to power the mower, but not the mower drive the tractor. It is one of those must do things. You will fall in love with the H. iv'e useed a 7 foot finish mower behind my H to mow down some pretty thick stuff and it kept right on going in second gear with the throtle only about a 1/4 of the way up. and it hasn't had a tune up since my garndpa bought in '87, he never rebuilt it and the person that had it befor him never rebuilt it. it has no problem doing anything I need it to do.
