Bought a long tierod end from this site for a 1963 Farmall 706 but it came with a larger tapered shaft than my original.
Mine is approx. .665 tapering up to .775.
Has anyone run it to this buying parts for theirs? I would guess they had a part change for 1964 and up?

Or, you have an aftermarket front end, or a front end adapted from a different tractor.

Can you post a picture to confirm?

Here it is against the stock one.

IH had only two outer tie rods for row crop Farmalls from the late Super H until the 86 series. They were differant only in lenth. The taper on the end stud was the same. Are you sure you have an IHC factory front end?

Yup, you have a factory IH wide front, looks correct for the 706 to. The Part Number for the short one is 359984R93. Part Number for the long one is 384441R93. What is the part number on the one you have? There is a differant part number for International Wheatland models tho. Give YT a call to verify the part they sent is correct. My parts books show no change in tie rods in the 706.

Thanks for the posting.
YT numbers don't correspond with these numbers so I don't know what the part is for. The part was longer and had one extra notch in it but they did have the same spacing so it set in correct.
