Serial number 31817 J H C All i find is that it is 1966 What does the letters stand for? Thanks for any help.

J means it has a rockford clutch and HC means it`s the Hi Clear version with 36" rear tires and either 16 or 19 " front tires along with taller spindles and a beefier cast square front axle.I have a 1960 model 140 Hi Clear. There`s pictures of several including mine under the tractor photos link at left side of this page.Mark
