HELLO ALL, THANKS FOR YALLS HELP IN THE PAST, COULD YALL TELL ME ABOUT THE REMOTE HYDRALICS ON A SMD, I HAVE ONE LINE RUNNING FROM THE LEFT SIDE OF THE MOTOR TO THE BACK I BELEIVE THIS TRACTOR ONLY HAS A COUNTERSHAFT HYDRALIC SYSTEM, CAN I USE THIS FOR A 3 POINT HITCH, ALSO THE MOTOR RUNS WELL BUT SEEM TO ALMOST SKIP ON THE GAS SIDE, IS THS NORMALL BECUASE OF THE THIRD VALVE, AND ON THE DESIEL SIDE IT SMOKES BADLY AND ALOS BOGS UNDER LOAD I HAVE CHANGED THE FILTERS AND RUN SOME TREATMENT THROUGH THE FUEL, WOULD GETTING THE INJECTION NOZELS REBUILT HELP THIS? I HAVE MOST OF THE SHOP MANUALS FOR THIS TRACTOR AND THE MANUAL FOR THE INJECTION PUMP BUT CANT FIGURE OUT WHAT KIND OFF DESIEL OIL TO PUT IN PUMP, ANY HELP WOULD BE GREATFULL ME AND MY FATHER HAVE 13 ANTIQUE TRACTORS BUT THIS IS OUR FIRST DESIEL

these ihc injection pumps hold about half a pint of engine oil.1/8 drain plug on bottom of pump, and fill till it runs out of petcock above the drain plug.they are usually full of diesel due to the internal seal leaking.so the best thing to do is change the oil often.unless you have lots of green backs to spare.have you bleed the filters properly?

I BLEED THE FILTERS AND THEN THEN WATER TRAP BUT I DID NOT BLEED THE INJECTORS B/C THE PRESSURE GAUGE WAS ON OPERATING LEVEL DO YOU THINK IT WOULD STILL HELP TO DO SO?

On some monitors (out here) it is difficult to read the All caps words. (it is also like shouting) The belly pump can be used for a three point. The same diesel grade engine oil is put in the injection pump, that is in the engine. If it runs poorely, it may have stuck valves, including starting valves. Do a compression check (on the gasoline mode) to see if there is dramatic differences between cylinders. It is a strong engine and will make good power when running well. they are smooth, so don't assume it is OK. If the compression is more than about 15% different between cylinders, Or none on a cylinder, Take off the valve cover and see if valves are stuck or pushrods off. This includes starting valves under the opening cam! Keep in touch, JimN
