I have a International H - seems like the clutch is slipping. How do I go about checking to see if it"s a wo0rn clutch or oil?

If it has oil coming out the bottom of the trans area, and coating the inside of the housing, it is oil. If it does not it is probably worn. Adjust the pedal freeplay to 1.125 inches measured at the platform to pedal stem. If the clutch still slips replace it. It can be done without splitting the tractor. Through the belly pump mounting hole and access cover. Plenty of advice on the search for (archives) box. JimN
