did farmall c ever come with a fast hitch

I have a farmall c. Did they ever make the 2 point fast hitch on a straight c. Ive seen them only on super c.

I have a 51 C that has one it could have been put on latter the man that was second owner said it was there when he bought it.

Rear housing of the C is drilled for fast hitch, but fast hitch did not appear until after SC production started. The early SC's did not have fast hitch either, but it could be added to both tractors.

I have a C that I added a fast hitch to, however, the belly is not drilled for the brack that aligns the frame of the hitch. I have used a few supports bolted to the belly under the gas tank but these tend to get bent out of shape. I have seen pictures of what seems to be a cylinder attached to the right side of the belly under the gas tank which looks to be orignal IH product. I don"t have a manual for this, does anyone know what it is called?

I think what you are talking about is the Hitch link rod part number 518 144 R1, and the draft link pipe PN# 518 143 R1. Ron
