300 Utility Value

What is the going rate in the Northwestern U.S. for a 300 Utility. Also, Do they have a T.A.? Live PTO and Hydraulics? How do you tell if the T.A. is good or not? It comes with a blade and what appears to be a trip bucket loader, don't know if it is original but do you have a clue to what it is worth?

Zach, I don`t live in your part of the country. Here in Wisconsin they`ll bring anywhere from $1000 for a rough one to $3500-$4000 for a nice one with a loader and few attachments.First off before I answer your other questions,does it have working power steering?If it only has manual steering I wouldn`t even consider buying it with a loader hanging on it ,unless you plan on taking the loader off.They are hard steering with all the extra weight on the front end.300U`s had an achilles heel and it was the steering box.Lots of them out there with broken/chipped steering gears and sloppy steering.
They came with TA,live hydraulics and live PTO, but I think they could be bought new without the TA and I know they could have the old transmission driven PTO(non live).I`m no expert on testing TA`s. I was told for a test to drive to a decent incline,stop,pull TA back, throttle 1/3rd to half throttle or so and let out the clutch and see if it slips or makes any noise.Others will have ideas on this as well.
That is a U-34 loader and came either hydraulic tilt or trip bucket. Hard to tell from that angle which it is. Looks like the exact setup I have. IF everything is in good working order I would say $2500 - $3250.As always, hard saying from a photo though. Hope this helps,Mark

If it doesn't have power steering you better go find Bruce Banner and see if he will give you a Gamma ray zap. Those 300Us are known to be bears to steer if they do not have power steering and thats with out a loader on it. Now if your the Hulk then maybe you could steer it
