Installing a V-8 in a Farmall?

There is if you have one made, or make it your self, they are not available commercially. There may be someone with a CNC program to cut it with a Plasma torch. JimN

If you knew what to cut, somone could draw it up and cut it with a CNC plasma cutter in about ten minutes. It wouldn"t be difficult if you had all of the dimensions and hole sizes. My old high school has a cnc plasma and it was awesome for sheet metal fabrication.

I agree and need to add that the bolt alignment dowel, and centering holes must be machined with a precise machine tool/radial drill, or milling center. The plate would work, but the positioning of the engine must be on center + or - .001" or the clutch and other components will not last. JimN

I have seen this come up before... People have posted asking about a SB IH V-8 as well as SB Chevy's and Ford's. If you had the stock for a motor plate (3/8" plate???) you could drill the dowel holes then use transfer centers (threaded studs with a centering point for transfering holes) and then take this to a machine shop. After the holes are match drilled then you could cut out the waste from the center with and jigsaw, vertical mill, ect. Good luck.
