front wheels

i have a set of front wheel's for a two wheel drive tractor. and they do not have the correct offset. my tire dealer say's he can't get me the offset i need. the wheel's are new and the center disc's are stiched welded. i want to grind off the factory welds and move the center's to the offset i need and reweld them. has anybody done this before?

i have done it on tractor wheels both front and rear before just try and get them as true as possible and you should be good to go

Your tire guy is full of crap, but your solution is a whole lot less expensive than buying another new set of rims.
