from the info i could find, all the super 9's were diesel, thus the super wd-9 designation. there was a wr-9s built which was a gas or possibly lp, but wasnt built to super specs. the r is the designation for rice tractor, has fuller squared off fenders on the rear and equipped with rice tires.

all super 9's were not diesel. but ih never improved anything to speak of on the old '9' gas engine it was used for the thirty some gas model 600's and the gas 650's also.

I disagree with the other fellas. I think there was a SWR9. No SW9's but they did make the Supwer in the WR gas. They did have fenders like a WD40 or 15 30 and most had a hand clutch and a decelerator pedal.

Think there was only a Super WDR 9. There was a
WR 9 S gasoline made in or near the same time period with a 335 CI engine. compared to 350 CI on the SWDR 9. Not positive but think the LP would be a conversion on a 9 series tractor.

Steelfront,

There was a WR-9S built in gasoline but not a Super WR-9 gasoline. The LPG would be either a field conversion or a conversion using LPG equipment from a 600 or 650 LPG.
