OT: PA FARM SHOW

The annual PA Farm Show starts on Jan 10, thru Jan 17th. You and your children can spend the whole day in there since there's a lot to see. I think it's still free. Hal

I went last year for the first time.Had a blast,looking forward to it this year.Would recamend to everyone.

I put this paragraph on the Talk Forum about taking our daughter.

She had never seen cows being milked and they milk them at least twice a day and you can see the milk being piped through the clear piping from the milkers and to the cooling storage tanks.

They have about all the breeds too. You can see how well the dairy farmers take care of their cows
with plenty of food and straw for bedding about a foot deep. Hal

We used to make an annual 3-hour trek down to Harrisburg for the PA Farm Show every year. A couple times it was a school activity and I always enjoyed it. That was early '60's.
