I"m getting a international 806 wheatland made back in the 60"s.I was just wondering if all 806 wheatlands had hand clutches and or if there rare. Also wondering if they offered a rear entry cab as an option. Thanks

We had an 806 Wheatland at one time. Ours had the black tachometer (as opposed to the multi-color with all the gears on it) that you had to spin the dial to choose which gear you were in. Had the RD injection pump on it, too I believe. 23.1x26 rear tires with 18.4x34 band-type duals and that skinny rear-entry cab. Also had the short hydraulic levers... I think it was a low serial number machine, but can't be positive.

It was bought new by a relative of the owner of the local IH dealer - same dealer that had sold 660 diesel serial number 502. I just wish I knew what the serial number was on ours - I've been trying to track it down, but no luck so far.

Anyway, I believe the rear entry cab was aftermarket but could be factory or dealer installed, I'm not sure. Ours had a foot clutch, and I'm not sure how popular the hand clutch was.

So, which gauges do you have? Which injection pump? It should either be the RD or a Roosa-Master...
