Farmall H waterpump

This site has them for a couple hundred bucks. IH dealer will probably be more expensive. Might be a little better quality, might be the same part.

What's wrong with it ?

If it is leaking out the front, the packing might need to be tightened or replaced. If the bearings are bad, they can be replaced. Same for seals, pulleys, impeller, etc.

It is not leaking yet but it has alot of bearing noise and it is really loose.I was told that you have to be really careful rebuilding these because you can bust them.I dont have it off yet.My outdoor shop is a little cool right now.
 
It is not that difficult to rebuild the water pump, If you want more detailed info on how to do it, feel free to email me. Most of the time all that needs to be done is to replace the bearings, seals and packing. These parts can be had for a lot less than the cost of a rebuilt pump.

If you want a rebuilt pump, I would recommend Rustyfarmall, high quality parts and service at a fair price.

Bought my brand-new (not rebuilt) H water pump from the local John Deere dealer. They have an aftermarket catalog they ordered from. CNH dealer couldn't help me, other than a couple of parts that I didn't need.
