charging a 560 diesel

I own a farmall 560 diesel tractor and it has 2 6volt batteries connected in a series to make it a 12 volt. What termial do you hook acharger to and if I wanted to jump it what terminals?

Hook the positive from the charger or booster to the positive termanal that goes to the starter and the neg from the charger or booster to a good bolt on the frame.

Another way to do it is to disconnect from the tractor and charge the batteries individually.
Jumping from another 12v tractor is ok jumping normal pos and negative. But when charging with a charger I always like to charge them seperate.

when we need to jump our 560 we hook
the positive cable directly to the solenoid
under the fuel tank. negative go to a
bolt head on the frame. hit the glow
plugs and then the starter button and
it will start. this way you don't have to
mess with taking off the battery shields.
