snowblower for Farmall 300

Thinking about buying a 3pt snowblower to play around with on the farmstead. 7-8ft two stage, would be the best. No serious snow removal I figure with the live pto and the TA engaged my ground speed should be slow enough.

What brands/models should I look at? All I seem to find are the stacked dual augers (too big for my needs), and the v-type single stage blowers.

So far I have looked at:

Loftness, Allied, IH, Erskine? what other brands are out there?

IF money was not a problem I would go with the front mounted blower or the rear pull blower.

We have a six foot Allied on our 340 that my dad bought new around 8 years ago, its always worked well. Never had any trouble with it. Otherwise Grandpas 574 tractor has an IH model 80 blower on it, except its a category II. I think is seven feet or so and has two augers on it. That one works really nice.

I had 7ft single stage on my 656 and it worked it hard, sometimes I had to slip the clutch with the torque pulled.

Picture of Granpa's 574, might have to use it again one of these winters.

I run a 6-foot erskine on my 340 with a 1-foot wing. Seems like a nice match for the hp. What I like best, though, is driving forward :)

Grandpa always said to stay off the TA in the winter. Lost 3 over winters and claimed the cold was hard on them. Others may chime in but I usually don't touch the TA when it's freezing out.
