Super C thermostat with pics I hope

Here is what the IH dealer said I needed, dont know how this go's together, what gose first, the gold spacer has the same od as the t-stat, dotn know what way the t-stat goes in, only marked mad in india

the side with the spring should face the engine block side of the cooling system. as it is sitting in the photo, the spring is on the bottom, that goes toward the engine, the top of the stat should face the top of the radiator inlet hose.

When I put dad"s in, I put the spacer in first so that if I ever had to change the t-stat again, I wouldn"t have to remove it. Next goes the t-stat. It sits on top of the spacer just the way you have it sitting in the pic. The ring then goes in the groove to hold the whole works in. Then hook up the rad hose.
