regular throtle

Hi I aquired a throttle clip to keep throttle handle at set speed on my Regular can any one tell how Iam supposed to fit it I must be missing something simple here. I got it cliped in behind throttle handle and firms handle nicley but after a while it shakes loose.thanks for any help

Sir, The Regular had over the hood rod with a spring for tention on throttle. Do you have an F-20 set up on yours with rod on side of gas tank?
If so the clip should be on the front side pushing down to keep grooves from slipping.

W400,If you have a repo spring clip from Rice there no good,they have no spring tension,Gordon is aware of this.The person who made these passed away and he has no other options

thanks for info guys I have original throtle on my Regular I there fore dont need the spring clip. makes sense now thanks alot Eric
