Rust in Diesel Tank - Tank Liners

The fuel tank on my MD is very rusty on the inside. I cleaned it several years ago, but it keeps rusting, so I have rust particles in my water trap and filters.
Classic Gas Tanks has an ad in the Red Power magazine and I have seen others somewhere. Has anybody had any experience with these companies that clean and install liners in fuel tanks? Is it good or not good? Roger

We put one in our 1972 chevy PU and it sealed it up nice, it had rust in it and now it is nice and clean. We took it to a radiator shop and they boiled it and installed a liner.

If you only clean your tank it will keep rusting,I think these tanks were zinc coated and when the zinc is removed it rusts pretty quick.It needs to be coated with a sealer.A radiator shop with the proper equipment is the best
