Hydraulic Drive shaft cover plate?

Correct me if im wrong, but I thought there was someplace that sells a cover plate to go on the drive shaft to the old Hydraulic pump if Your tractor has been converted to live hyrdaulics. Is it just my imagination or is there really such a thing for a Super M? Thanks

The one for a Stage 2 SM should work. There may be a flat one also. The Stage 2 one has the same holes in the bottom for attaching implements/cylinders as the Stage 1 with the lift all. Call Mike at Steel Wheel Ranch 785-548-7437.

they kinda look like this?? this was from a kit that was an add on live pump for an m. the old belly pump housing would be converted to a resevoir by bolting this cover in place of the pump , increased the volume the pump housing would hold.

Then is there anything you would put over the old shaft that goes into the transmission? Like a cap or something? Just something so you don't have anything spinning anymore. Thanks for the pict.

With the belly pump reservoir in place, and the access panel in place, you can't put your hand up in there, and it's covered.

Yes a cap goes in place of the housing held by 3 bolts that counter shaft seal goes in. Hydraulic unit drive lug gets removed from counter shaft and heavy washer and a nut goes on before the cap. Get the parts from all W6, SW6 tractors or SM that came with live hydraulic. No seal needed then, just a gasket for the cap.
