change 1947 Cub magneto to reg points and coil

I want to change over from magneto to regular points,cont and coil on a 1947 Farmall Cub. Can this be done or do I have to buy a new kitto replace the magneto ?

easy to do. disconnect the internal wire that goes form the ground lug on magneto to internal coil. find a place to mount a coil (many bolt it to hood), run a hot wire through a switch (mag switch will not work) to - side of coil. wire form + side of coil to terminal on side of mag. hot wire from coil to center of cap. You are done. Use the same points and condenser that are in magneto, if they are good.
 
John ".?-!*, can I change the Pos ground over to Neg ground on the cub ? Will that work changing the pos and neg with the magneto ? Also, will 12 vdc work on everything, I"ll change the lights over to 12 vdc from 6 vdc.
