1066 hyd problem

I got a 1066 that the 3 point hitch and rear hyd outlets work very poorley. real slow or not at all sometimes. i pulled the hyd pump and the pump is not that old and it looks good. the filter has been changed. i took that valve out on the right side under the seat and took it apart and found nothing wrong or stuck in it. One thing i did find was that when i took out the hitch pump i found a magnet inside rear end and was full of fine metal stuck to it. Im out of ideas. i would be thankful for any help you guys could give me. Thanks Joe

I have A 1066 IH if the 3 point hitch operating lever is all the way down, remote cylinder will not work. I can raise 3 point operating lever up just A inch or so then it works fine

have you pulled the filter,does it work the same hot and cold.
