Parts list shows a radiator tie rod # 67853D which is no longer available. I need one to have the radiator in the right place so the grill/hood will match up, so I don"t screw up the new paint when it goes back together. Anyone have the measuments on one so I can make it? I know the radiator brace tie plate hooks to one end. Not certain where the other end bolts to. Any help is appreciated, Tom/Idaho

I don't know how long that rod is right off hand, but the rear end is threaded and goes through a hole in the center steering shaft support bracket.

a local salvage yard should have one. What you could do before you paint your grill and hood is put your grill on and then try putting on the hood. If there is a gap between the two adjust the rod a little and try again. After a little tinkering you should be able to have the grill and hood line up almost perfect. You see quite a few tractors with a pretty good sized gap between the hood and grill. They just didnt adjust the rod when they restored the tractor. Andy
