Magneto - Good deal?

Hi Guys,I"m looking at a magneto on e-bay:

Since I am relatively new to antique tractor restoration, what do you think a good price would be for a magneto like this? I don"t necessarily want to buy this magneto, but I don"t want to pay too nuch for one when I do buy. Any help would be great, thanks!

If it does work as advertised, that would be a great buy. A clean working mag will normally run $60 to $100. Shipping is outrageous on that one though.

Shipping should be $10 or less---flat rate. Lots of people make more on shipping than on items that they sell.

I agree on the shipping. I see the seller has specified UPS, and UPS is a bit ridiculous. USPS Priority mail flat rate would be $10 or less.

I believe a fully rebuilt magneto is around $150 to $180 - I wouldn't spend more than $125 shipped for a basic working mag.
