Does anyone know anything about a Farmall grader? Any information or stories would be appreiciated!

You asking about the ones made as after market graders for say the M. If so thats not really a Farmall grader but an after market add on that turns the M and a few others into a grader and was not made by I-H

The tractor photos on the left has several different ones. Click there and search for "grader". Here's a 49 International MI (industral) David.........

Several road machinery builders modified Farmall F-30 and M tractors into road graders. Manufacturers included Adams, Trojan, Galion and Trac - there were probably others.

I've also seen Galion graders based on 40's era Case, Allis-Chalmers and Minneapolis-Moline tractors.

Fascinating old machines!

Did you know that at one time Galion used an engine made by IH the same one as in a 560 and then also used a transmission made by Oliver so it was part Oliver part IH and part who knows what else

I've found one in the woods a grader on a Farmall M.I haven't looked at it enough to see who made the actual grader. It has set for about twenty years. All of the sheet metal is there along with every thing else.I suppose it has been sheltered well by the old tarp!! I was wondering if since the guy will let me have it for $200 dollars and a old diesel toyota if i would be a good project!!Also thanks for the help!! Ask your friends for advice too!!

Thanks for the help.Any info about the Farmall M with the grader would be very helpful.I've found one in the woods.Been there for around twenty years but isn't too bad! Man says for $200 dollars and my old toyota diesel I can have it.
does that sound like a decent deal?

For $200 you can not go wrong. You could part out the M part of it for about 5 times that and the grader part even more. Not that I'm saying you should part it out but yes and you don't have it home yet?? I know if I had found it, it would have been home and probably already being worked on. I have a 1947 W Speed Patrol which is a grader made by Allis beased on a WC Allis tractor but they where in fact made by Allis not like what that M is being an after market grader add on

hey old
do you have an M or an H? i know you have a few colors in your shed, but i didn't know if red was one of them.

Thanks a miilion
I'll have it home by at least Tuesday!!The only reason i didn't is I wanted to be sure i had somrthing good before i drug home another piece of worthless junk!It is very close it is honestly across the road from my house.I wonder why i didn't see it sooner!!!!

Most of the tractors I own where dead when I got them. No fun in buying one that runs well getting one running is half the fun or owning them. Look in my web site and you can see just a few of the 35 tractors I own

If in these times the diesel has little value, do it. Total about 1000 max if the engine is free. jIMn

If you don't buy it i'll come and get it. Man that's a kick butt deal. Not much practical use unless you have a driveway that need worked on all the time but what the heck.
