I bought what I thought was an engine out of a super a to replace one with a crack. Well, lack of research provided me with a situation. I would like to keep my hydraulics but I still would need another block for the mounts. I would like to stay with a 113 or 123 block. Any thoughts.

Not sure from your post what it is you're lacking?

Did you get a block from an A/B/C that doesn't have provision for the hydraulic pump? If that's the case, I'd have to say that you're gonna be better off finding the right block and selling/swapping the one you now have. That's gonna be a lot less hassle than rigging a belt or PTO drive pump and piping it into your hydraulic block

Mark,

Just do what you did before to find the wrong block. This time, just make sure it's the right block, before you buy...

Post a wanted ad in the Classifieds. Check local papers. Look for a tractor salvage yard in your area... Those kinds of techniques are what got you the first block. They should work well enough to get you the right block.

I guess then that begs the question...."what's the question"? But then what do I know....I'm only a "B" screwup. ;-)

Mark: Forget about asking for an engine block for a certain model. There are enough bone heads selling used parts that think, if it bolts up it will be correct.

Shop by block part number, either 251069 R1 or 354898 R1 for a Super A. Still best to go for same block part number as you have
