Correct Farmall Super C Lights

I am trying to figure out what are the correct lights for a 1953 Farmall Super C. Generally, the pictures I see the headlights are tear drop. Is that correct? Did IH ever put the sealed beam lights on the Super C? On a Super C with fast hitch where is the rear light mounted? Was the rear light just plain white beam or did it have the combination tail light? Where is the best place to buy original style lights?
 
I think the Sealed beams were mid 1953. So there was a split. Part numbers @ caseih.com would confirm. JimN
 
Just looking at the parts catalog . . .

Up to Ser # 159454, they were supplied with teardrop headlights and rear light. Above that, the sealed beam type.

Rear light placement is a little tricky. The wiring diagram shows the mount changing from the left side of the toolbox to the right rear of the tranny cover after Ser# 189456. Looking at the detail of the light mounts they show two different mounts up to that same Ser #, one for Fast Hitch, one for not, and seem to indicate that both were on the left. The "plain" one mounts about a third of the way up the left side of the toolbox. The one for Fast Hitch looks as if it would mount to the tranny cover. Above that they all went to the right rear corner with no differentiation between Fast Hitch or not.

Combination rear light was always an option.

Lots of folks sell the original lights, which are still made by Guide.
 
My 53 has flat back lights and uses bulbs not seal beams,tail light is on the left, bolted to the cover.
 
Those flat sealed beams were not available thru normal sources for my 200. I finally resorted to replacing entire fixture with rubber fixture with a sealed beam in it. Changed over to 12v at the same time, and bulb/fixtures were only a few $ each. Tail light was located on left rear of foot platform, next to tool box on mine.
