How much oil does a Super M hold?

8Qrts until it runs out the top petcock, the stert and get oil pressure. reopen top petcock fill to drip again. JimN

This may seem like a stupid question but I went to change oil on my Super M (new owner) and I do not see any place to put the fresh oil in. The old stuff came out the drain plug just fine, but no cap on the valve cover, no oil add tube that I can find. I understand the level checking petcocks on the pan but where do you put the new oil in?

sounds like you need a manual. Well worth it's weight in gold.
In front of the distributer there is a big winged cover. That is the fill.
You may want to stick you finger in the drain plug too. My tractor had been somewhat neglected and had tons of sludge in the bottom of the pan. If you're in there anyway it may be a good time to check it. If so pull the pan and clean it out.
