3588 IH 2 + 2 parts

Would anyone know where I might find a front end for a 3588 2 + 2 tractor. a neighbor had one broke and is going to need parts for the front end. Any ideas.

Bates Corporation, Bourbon IN. Or maybe Worthington Ag Parts. They have salvage yards across the midwest. Google'em, they both have websites.

Depends on where you are located. Bates Corp out of Indiana, Worthington Tractor Salvage in Minnesota, Downing Tractor Parts in Wisconsin to name a few. Try doing a google search for tractor salvage yards and you should come up with several places to start your search.

I am In central Illinois, I will tell the neighbor that owns the tractor. I could have Googled it, but I figured if anybody on here suggested a place, they would be more reliablle, then guessing who was reliable and who is not.

I saw what may be a parts 88 series "shark" at a local dealer here in WI. They also have another on the lot. Give them a call at 920-361-0515.

A few years back there was a surplus store in Milan Ill. that had some brand new front ends and rear ends on their lot for the 2+2's.

They bought them from IH when production stopped in the mid 80's.

Don't know if they are still there or not.
