No, one got shocked--- yet. Shop helper decided to help me out and shine up the points in the '47 A magneto--- tractor has been sitting for 8 years in a corncrib. I was gone, and he took the distributor cap off and then removed the 2 screws directly behind the rotor and pulled the little plate off . Of course, this also removes the one little drive gear from the other. He stated he tried not to move it and put it all back together, but wasn't sure he wasn't one tooth off.
Are there any marks on these gears to time them with? Next time I'll show him how to test the magneto properly (shocking may be involved).
