240 U Hydraulic filter source?

I picked up a 1958 International 240U for my son's first project and haven't been able to locate a source for the hydraulic filter or even a good cross-number for it. Case IH website says I need 375078R91. Any help will be appreciated.

I get my 340 filters at NAPA, must be about the same.

That IH # crosses to NAPA 1139. Two "biscuit" looking type filters per box. HTH.

Is it a single filter that looks like this, approx 2 inch dia, and 4 inch long? I had the same problem with my 240U. All of the aftermarket filters, and I tried all of them, incorrectly cross them to the dual filters used on a 340. Only place I could get one was IH. I bought one last month from Hoober.com (IH supplier in PA who mail orders). Make sure you're sitting down when they tell you the price. It fit perfectly. For $46 it better.

Thanks! I found another IH dealer online and yep, paid $42 plus $9 shipping. Cheaper (gas and time) than me driving 40 miles to closest dealer around here. I don't know why (I had same problem) WIX, etc.. cross to the 340 filter when it is so different.

Don't forget O'reillys. They carry wix. Go to the Wix website and they cross reference with case by putting the case number in.
