2404 hydrolic preasure problem

Hello, I changed the Transmission /hydrolic oil and filter. the 3 point lift and power steering use the tranny hydrolic fluid . I refilled and now have no hydrolic preasure. no steering and no lift. the shop manual say"s to cycle the lift and steering to bleed, but I"m having no luck. the filter bowl is dry. I"m afraid if I keep running the pump, it"ll burn out. any ideas as to what to do on this one? thanks

I ended up just loosening the pressure line from the pump and running the engine just long enough to get oil flow started, you need to be ready to shut the engine off real quick if you try this though and dont take the line compleatly off just loosen it a few turns.

Someone put a T fitting in the suction line on my tractor before I got it. That lets me pull a plug and fill the filter housing and part of the suction line. I've never had any trouble with it picking up fluid right away.
