hia folks, those of you who"ve helped me in the past - thanks, and just for you to know, he almost appears to be running normally (the super c)!

here"s the next problem...

i have a mid mounted finger mower (i think it"s the same as a scickle mower??). anyway, i"ve seen a mid mounted plough on a cub, and other farmalls i"m sure - you know, set between the front and rear wheels.

i don"t suppose i"ll find one to buy, but does anyone have any photos or a plan of how exactly it"s mounted? i thought i might be able to get a local blacksmith to fabricate one.

what do you think??

thanks a lot

Why don't you buy a used pull type plow? Some of those Super C's came with a fasthitch. I had one with the fasthitch and I had the 2-bottom plow plow with the fasthitch hookup too. Sure was nice
to hookup and unhook. It plowed nice too. Hal

I have always wondered, when the word 'plow' is spelled 'p-l-o-u-g-h', is the word then pronounced pluff?

Though I can understand your confusion, "ploe" is more likely, or less likely (cough, cough!) ploff. If you think it through, it might even be "plue." I'm especiallly fond of that last one -- kinda poetic ain't it, in a Dr. Seuss kind of way?

Never seen a mid mount plow for a C/SC. They did have plows that mounted under the belly but hung out the back like any other mounted plow. It is a McCormick C-294 or C-295 moldboard plow. They do a beautiful job of plowing. Were also two way and disk plows for them.
