Hi, a friend and I have purchased a IHC 684 to tow our boat at our beach house. We have changed the Engine oil today with no issue. We want to change the Hydraluic Oil but we cannot find where to put the Hydraluic Oil back in once we have drained it. Could someone please tell me where this is ?

There looks like multiple places you can drain the Hyrraluic Oil from , does it matter which bolt we undo?

Cheers

Tim,
The hydraulic fluid filler plug is underneath the transmission cover (also called the tunnel cover) so remove this to access the plug. There are three (3) drain plugs (Front,Centre {manual spelling not mine} & Rear) so remove all three to drain fluid completely.

584 is at the back of the tractor about where the electrical connection for the lights are above the rock shaft.I am not disputing the other poster but I always thought the "84" series were all about the same

The filler is the big square head pipe plug on the rockshaft housing behind the fuel tank, usually the SMV bracket and top link holder hook are beside it.

Thanks everyone for your advice. It was at the back by the top link holder. The reason we couldn't see it was that someone had welded a Hydraluic return line quick release onto it. It took us hours to realise.

Oil changed successfully.

Cheers
