I'm looking at a 560 tomorrow that will run,but has carb problems, and possible compression issues on the engine. The real interest is that it has a 9' trencher on the rear, and a Blade on the front. The asking price is $500. He just wants to get it out of the field.Any thoughts???

I agree. The carb problems can be easily remedied, the engine can be rebuilt, and you will have a good, solid tractor for a very reasonable price.

I think it's a good deal. If everything else works you could have a great tractor for less than $1,500.

I'd but it in a heartbeat.

What is a trencher? I have been looking for a PTO driven device to dig a trench for burying cable or lawn irrigation pipe - is this 9' trencher what I'm looking for or is this something else? If it is a PTO driven (for lack of a better description) "ditch witch" and it's near me in lower central Michigan, I'd buy it from you (assuming you buy the package with the 560).

If it turns out to be a dud, you can get more than yor money back parting it out. I paid $500 for a good salvage pto unit 7 years ago.
